Blair Bertram Matyszczyk (pronounced Ma-tish-chick) is a litigation attorney with our Kansas City product liability attorneys, with three years of experience both inside and outside the courtroom. Blair followed the path of her father, Scott, and her brother, Ben, in her decision to attend law school and become a Kansas City product liability lawyer alongside them. Blair's uncle, Barry Bertram, is also an attorney.
Blair attended Blue Valley High School and graduated in the spring of 2002. Blair then headed to Chicago, Illinois to play college tennis at DePaul University, and subsequently earned her undergraduate degree. Following graduation, Blair worked as both a Project Assistant and Litigation Legal Assistant for one of the largest firms in the world based out of Chicago, Illinois. This invaluable experience helped Blair realize that she truly wanted to be an attorney, and she owes many thanks to the attorneys and legal staff she worked with at that firm. After four years there, Blair returned to Kansas City to attend law school.
Due to her excellent representation of clients in product liability cases, Blair was selected as a Super Lawyers 'Rising Star' in 2017.

Diverse Experience
Blair currently focuses her practice on pharmaceutical products liability as well as medical malpractice and nursing home cases, representing plaintiffs. Blair has been in the unique position of helping manage large mass tort litigations, with the most notable ones being the Reglan/Metoclopramide litigation and the Transvaginal Mesh litigation. Blair's early trial experience has involved a large transvaginal mesh case that lasted nearly two months. She had the opportunity to work alongside excellent nationally-recognized trial attorneys, assisting them in both the discovery phase of the case and at trial. Blair continues to utilize this experience to develop her own practice and contribute to the overall success of the Kansas City product liability attorneys at Bertram & Graf.
